ASTI Graduation Class of 2020 will take place at 5pm on Friday May 29 in the COA Gym.


This Friday, February 7th is a late start day for students.  1st period begins at 10:06am.


Bonjour, ASTI! This Friday, join us in Ms. Campbell’s room at 3:30 for a free movie night showing of Ratatouille! We will also have the finest food available for purchase, including madeleines, croissants, and apple and grape cider, along with popcorn and soft drinks! Do come, s’il vous plâit, for an evening you won’t want to miss! Until then, au revoir!


Yearbook still needs your student life, baby, and pet photos. Seniors need to send in their senior page photos as well. All these will be due this Sunday at 11:59PM.


Yearbook is selling in the quad this Friday for $55. Get them before their price increases, which is happening soon!


Yesterday we began selling our Senior Fundraiser Valentines Grams! Show your love to your friends, significant others, teachers, parents and ESPECIALLY yourself! It will be 1 for $5 and 2 for $8: We’ve got some airheads and candy that will bring back memories of your childhood.  So please find the table in the quad where we are selling if you have any questions! Help support your Senior Class of 2020 and show some LOVE towards each other! They will be sold everyday until February 13th, right before Valentine’s Day!


Students Rising Above is accepting applications for the Class of 2021 Rising Stars Program.  Scholars receive personalized mentoring support, financial assistance, and college and career guidance.  Apply if you are a high school junior, have overcome obstacles that are not of your own making, are low income or living on government assistance, have a 3.0 GPA or higher.  Applications due March 4th and include writing an essay and submitting a letter of rec.


Seniors: If you will receive an Associate’s Degree or complete IGETC this year, you must meet with a COA counselor to file for your IGETC or AA degrees by February 28th.  You must bring your official high school transcript with you to your meeting.  You may schedule an appointment with a COA counselor in the A Building or online:

Next Friday, February 7, Advisory will be hosting a Spring Movie Night! Advisory has narrowed down its options to Crazy Rich Asians, Ratatouille, and To All the Boys I Loved Before. If you want a say in what movie we are going to pick, vote on the survey posted on the ASTIans Announcement Page on Facebook We will be closing the form tonight, so please vote today!  Admission is Free! We will also be selling themed snacks and drinks during the movie.


Sign up on Sign-Up Genius for PTSA's Phone-a-thon Fundraising Committee. Join Tiye Kurtz-Miott, VP of Fundraising to plan a fun, effective Phone-a-thon.  Meetings will be via FaceTime, Skype, conference calls and where needed, in person meetings.  The Phone-a-Thon is this year's primary fundraiser for student, staff, classroom and school grounds needs.  We plan to have our first meeting in the 4th week of January with specific day and time determined by the schedules of the committee members.


Seniors: Don’t forget to submit your 2020-2021 FAFSA at  Your FAFSA should be sent to all four year colleges, community colleges, and/or vocational colleges you may attend next year.  This includes COA!  See Ms. Jurkovich if you have any questions.
